His signature style features bold lines, earthy colors, and stylized figures—especially the graceful women of his village, adorned in bright sarees and traditional ornaments. A student of K.G. Subramanyan at M.S. University, Baroda, Vaikuntam’s works beautifully merge folk traditions with modern sensibilities. Through his art, he honors the warmth, dignity, and spirit of rural India.
